Yoga? How? What?

In the course of years, I found my way in yoga and started combining the benefits of all the skills and insights I assembled, so as to provide everyone with tailormade exercise, for young and old. Yoga is for everyone…

Hatha yoga – the basics: movements focused on breathing techniques, slow stretches and relaxation. Static poses (asanas)

Power Yoga – focuses on strenghth and stamina

Flow Yoga – more relaxed form of power yoga

Okido Yoga – holistic, dynamic and meditative form of yoga, with remedial exercise and meridian stretches

Vinyasa Yoga – combines breathing with movement in series of poses

Ashtanga-yoga – first form of Vinyasa yoga, in which the poses of the series remain the same

Anusara Yoga – focuses on “alignment”, stability

Yoga is something you do for yourself. Anyone can do it! Young or old. It is a great way to start moving (again), especially if your mobility is limited bij pain, disease or other issues. Yoga follows your own rythm and tempo. By trying to achieve a pose, your muscles are active in a relaxed manner. There is no pressure to fully achieve a pose.
