Let me introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Benny…. Over 25 years ago, I found myself facing various health problems in my family. For several years, one of my daughters spent endless times in the pediatrics department of Gasthuisberg, the University Hospital in Leuven. She remained ill, which opened my eyes and mind to the limitations of “medical science” as I knew it. So I started looking elsewhere to find a more complete, integrated kind of healing that would exceed the strictly medical approach.

Without ever losing faith

in the knowledge modern medicine holds and the power of what it can achieve in terms of technological interventions, I set out to find a way to complete the healing path…

Things were obviously missing…

There may be lots of similarities, and every individual has equal physical features, but at the same time, we are all UNIQUE as well. Man is NOT a machine. And people may react very differently to the same medical interventions and medication.

As it so happens – there is no such thing as a coincidence – 😊… I ended up taking

a Health Therapist course.

It provided me with a thorough understanding of the human body and with insight in many techniques and therapies. I became very familiar with different massage techniques, and I was especially mesmerized by

herbs, aromatherapy and Bach flowers.

Honoring the statement:

“The more you know, the more you know that you don’t know anything yet”,

I further explored these therapies  through various workshops and self-study. Discovering more and more tools which brought me closer to my own core, I was able to guide others in following their own path as well, in a healthier and more balanced way.

That inspired me to start my health practice, although I felt some links to still be missing in order to complete my vision for my personal environment and my practice. I was left with still too many unreplyed questions, and I was not happy about that…

My quest lead me into an Aura Soma course, a Cranio-Sacral Therapy (Upledger) course, a workshop in Ayurvedic massage and a course in Neuro-Reactive Techniques. They respectively taught me a lot on an energetic level,  incredible things in the field of massage, a lot of basic theoretical knowledge of the human body and insight in natural nutritional supplements.

Shiatsu rounded my circle of teachings, with a 3 year-study that would fulfill my search for insight at the point where West and East met…

All techniques and knowledge I have acquired, are applied in treatment for my clients. Every treatment is different, since it is tailored to fit the individual and what concerns him or her “NOW”, so to speak. Years on end, I used what I have learned for treating animals as well, more specifically horses and dogs. Horses have the amazing ability to respond with great clarity and thus tell you what they need in detail, once you’ve learned to understand them. In doing so, they always provide me with feedback on what I want to pass on to people.

When the local yoga-teacher stopped teaching, I considered it an extraordinary opportunity and took over. Finally, I laid the next piece of my own puzzle…  After several Yoga courses in Belgium, the Netherlands and Monaco I was certified as a Master Yoga teacher (500h) by the Yoga Alliance International/Europe.

Then, after 20 years of practice and teaching on a daily basis in Belgium, we moved to Hungary and started on a new adventure… Here, in our authentic B&B in the sunny South, in Lànycsòk, I picked up where I left off and now organize weeks and workshops with Yoga. On top, I do wonderful therapeutic massages, and have online sessions of Yoga, Coaching and Hypnotherapy.

Check out all that I have to offer….and have fun!! Better yet: come check it out yourself… 😊
